Year 6 have been researching how rationing was implemented in 1940’s Britain as part of their WW2 Topic: Bravery and Courage.

After researching rationing recipes and completing a weekly food plan, we decided it was time to have a go of some of these recipes and taste them!

Together, we made cheese and potato dumplings, carrot cookies and potato peel crisps.

We discovered that the recipes were actually VERY tasty!
