Year 5 had a fantastic three days visiting the beautiful landscape of Holy Island.

They tackled some wild windy weather and the occasional downpour, but thoroughly enjoyed their time exploring the island.

On Wednesday, they explored the beach and rock pools. On Thursday, the Lime Kilns were the first port of call before mass with Fr David in the local church and a trip to the legendary ‘Devil’s Drop’ in the afternoon. On Friday, there was just enough time to visit a few shops for some all important souvenirs before heading home with half of the beach in our pockets!

Y5 – you were exceptionally well behaved and so enthusiastic. The adults were all so proud of your maturity and kind nature when looking after one another. Well done!
