We had a wonderful time leading up to Easter in Nursery. We introduced Lent as a time when Christians think about growing in love. We explored the ways children can grow in love: e.g. sharing and helping.

We sang a beautiful hymn for our parents and posted it on seesaw! They loved it.

The children really enjoyed their arts and crafts. They made a beautiful Easter card, a paper mache egg and drew fantastic patterns onto eggs.

We also made some lolly pop stick crosses to place in our flower pots.

The beautiful weather ensured that we had a productive time at ‘Forest School.’ We replanted our wild flower garden and saved our lavender plants. The children were taught a new skill using tools. They used loppers to trim the lavender, they followed the safety instructions brilliantly.

This week, we all celebrated together and cooked hot dogs on the campfire. Nursery have requested garlic bread next time!

We hope you all have a very ‘Happy Easter’ with your loved ones!
