Taking a very small amount of time off the relentless Y6 pursuit of excellence in Maths and English, we have extended our Geography topic (aka Creative Curriculum, if any OFSTED inspectors are reading this) on El Salvador to explore the work of world-famous Salvadoran artist, Francisco Llort. Llort seeks to express the beauty and vibrancy of his homeland through his art and Y6 have created some stunning designs in a similar style. You’ll see them in all their magnificence if you come to the Y6 CAFOD lunch a week on Friday..
Given a remit to develop the teaching of R.E. in more creative ways, on Friday afternoon Y6 performed various versions of the Parable of the Prodigal Son. What a talented class of actors! Come and watch them show off their skills in the Y6 Class Assembly next Friday. Not to be missed!
