A Message to Y5 from Miss Quinn

Hi Year 5,

I hope you’re all doing well, being kind to your families and tidying your bedrooms (haha!).

I know that loads of you have been doing our home learning packs, baking and enjoying the sunshine – I have LOVED seeing all of your photos on Twitter and hearing about what you have been up to. It has been very quiet in school without you, I’ve had no one to play games with apart from Mrs Carr!

For this week, maybe you could try something from our homework menu? Use it as an opportunity to be creative.

Make sure that you are reading a little bit every day too – I want to hear any good reviews or recommendations for what I can read next!

If you’re stuck for any maths activities, remember that you can teach your families any of the games that we play in school – drop out is a good one to start with!

Most importantly though, look after yourselves and stay safe. Enjoy the time with your families (even those pesky brothers and sisters) and make sure to give them an extra big cuddle.

Hope to see you really soon, I’m missing you all lots.

Love,

Miss Quinn x
