Hello Year Two,
I hope you have enjoyed your learning activities this past week and that you are ready for some more.
In Mr McGregor’s garden this week we are making our scientific conclusions from our plant experiment. If you have been growing seeds in different conditions, then you need to decide which plant grew best. Explain how you know it grew well and identify the conditions that allowed it to grow into a strong and healthy plant.
In Geography you will learn about farming in China. China is well known for producing rice. Read all about the rice farms of China and see if you can complete the sequencing activity.
This week we are using the knowledge we have learnt about toys in history to sort them into the right groups. Also we will be using our words to describe the passing of time to show how much you have learnt about toys that have changed throughout history.
For Art this week you can create a panda picture. Pandas like bamboo and can often be found in a forest of bamboo. Use any materials you wish to create a picture of a panda eating bamboo.
If you are really proud of any learning you do this week please send it to me by email or by twitter. Keep up your super work and have a good week.
From Mrs Harman
