Dear Reception,

We hope that everyone is keeping safe and well at home and you have had another good week. We have had a lovely week in school learning and being together. The weather hasn’t been as good, but we have still managed to get out into our Reception garden and have enjoyed running around and playing together.

It was St. Columba’s feast day on Tuesday. We talked about what we love about our school and what makes our school special. The children found out a little about St. Columba and did some lovely art work.

We read the story of ‘The Rainbow Fish’ and thought about all our friends we are missing at school. We had fun doing some lovely activities linked to our story. We have added these to our home learning area and hope you enjoy completing some of the activities too.

If you do any of our activities at home please don’t forget to ask your grown up to send them to our homelearning@stcolumbasprimary.co.uk email address. Then we can see all of the amazing things you’ve been up too!

Have a good week. Keep safe and keep smiling!

Love Mrs Harris, Mrs McGrady and Mrs Rowan xo
