Home Learning – Reception (27.4.20)

Dear Reception,

How are you all keeping? I hope you are well and getting out a little to enjoy some of the lovely sunshine we have been having. I love seeing what you have been up to on ‘Twitter’, so keep sending in and sharing your wonderful pictures with us.

I have spoken to Mrs Rowen and she sends her love to you all. She has been busy enjoying her garden. She has planted some sunflowers seeds and is excited to see how tall they grow! Perhaps you could enjoy planting some seeds and watching them grow too.

It is my dad’s 70th birthday on Monday, he lives in Ireland and we are all missing him so much. My girls are especially missing their grandad cuddles and stories. We are sad that we can’t be with him on his special day but Oonagh and Aoife have made him some lovely cards which I’m sure will make him smile! Maybe you could make a card or picture to send to someone you love to make them smile¬†too.

Our topic, this half term, would have been Minibeasts so Mrs McGrady and myself have put together a few suggested activities for the coming week and added these below. Please do not feel that you have to do all of the activities – just do what you can.

Have a lovely weekend and remember to keep smiling and having fun with your family.

Missing you, sending you all a big hug,

Mrs Harris xo
