Active Mile – Friday 30th April

Active Mile – Friday 30th April

On Friday April 30th our school will take part in the Annual Active Mile event organised by the North Tyneside PE Sports Team.

Children will complete the daily mile in their class bubbles as part of their usual school day.

This event will also coincide with the – “England does the Daily Mile” which is taking place on that day.

The Active Mile celebrates the physical, mental and social benefits exercise brings to young people.

‘The aim of The Active Mile is simple – to help all children improve their health and wellbeing by doing 15 minutes of physical activity outdoors each day.  Children jog or run with their classmates with appropriate Covid-19 management procedures in place in the safety of their own school setting’.

Don’t forget your trainers everyone! Look out for photos and updates from the day.
