Home Learning – Year 2 (27.4.20)

Home Learning – Year 2 (27.4.20)

Dear Year Two,

I hope you have had another good week of learning at home and spending precious time with your family. The sun has been shining which makes everything better.

If we were at school we would have been starting a new topic for the half term and this topic would have been all about Heroes! We would have been thinking about real life everyday heroes who help us in our lives such as doctors, nurses, firefighters and the police. We also would have been thinking about fictional superheroes and I’m sure some of you can name plenty! At home you could find out about some of our real life heroes and what they do in their jobs, especially as right now they are busy showing everyone exactly how important and amazing they are. We would have also been learning about The Great Fire of London and discovering which heroes helped during this disaster.

I have posted some of the activities we would have done together in school so that you can learn and discover with your family.  I hope you enjoy finding out about heroes and I look forward to seeing your amazing work which you can post on twitter or send in an email. I love seeing all that you have been up to because it always makes me smile.

Have fun and remember to have lots of choosing too!
