Y3 Dramatise Given Scenarios and Discuss, “What Is A Sin?”

Y3 Dramatise Given Scenarios and Discuss, “What Is A Sin?”

Y3 were given the following scenarios.  After dramatising them, they were able to discuss whether each of the incidents viewed were a sin or not:

You are visiting your grandma’s house.  She has a vase that is very old and important to the family.  You pick it up to look at it, it slips out of your fingers and breaks.   Sin?  Yes/No    because…

Your sneaky sister jumps out on you.  Startled, you bonk her on the head.  Sin?  Yes/No    because…

A few of the boys in Y4 are teasing the new kid and making him cry. You join in because it’ll make you look cool to the older boys and you’re afraid they’ll tease you too if you don’t.  Sin?  Yes/No    because…

Your mam asks if you’ve seen your dad.  You have.  You saw him sneaking into the bedroom to hide mam’s present.  You lie and tell her that you haven’t seen him.  Sin?  Yes/No    because..

You forget to lock the gate and your family dog gets out and is hurt by a passing car.  Sin?  Yes/No    because..

This boy in your class has been getting on your nerves all morning.  You see another boy in Y4 putting those sticky weeds and mud all over the back of his jumper.  The boy in your class does not notice.  You smile and walk on.  Sin?  Yes/No    because..
