Well, as we bid a fond farewell to at least 25% of our readership, life continues as normal in Y6 as children immerse themselves in the yuletide creative curriculum. We’ve made our clay gift boxes and have started to paint them. Note, if you will, the child proudly displaying his model in front of a collection of guitar picks from around the world which hints at the music that forms a distinctive part of our curriculum. Have you noticed the wall displays showing evidence of a substantial art project we carried out earlier in the term, along with our Geography work on Columbia? A unit of work that linked Geography, English, Food Technology & R.E. – while simultaneously raising nearly £150 to support CAFOD’s work in Latin America. All evidence of a term’s worth of hard work demonstrating our thriving and varied Creative Curriculum in Y6.
