After School Sports Clubs

We have lots of sports clubs at St. Columba’s that run at different times throughout the year.

Autumn (1st half term)

Monday Dodge Ball Club This club is run by Access Coaching. Sessions are held in the school hall once a week from 3.30pm until 4.30pm and takes place over 5 weeks. The club is aimed at children getting active in a fun way and improves co-ordination, balance, agility, throwing and catching.
Tuesday Energy Club This club takes place before school within Breakfast Club and is run by Mrs Iliadou. Sessions are held once a week in the school hall or outside on the yard/field (weather permitting). The club runs throughout the academic year and includes learning and developing different generic skills, increasing confidence, self-esteem and motivation in a fun environment. Come and join us. We thoroughly recommend it!
Thursday Girls Football Training This is run by Miss Metcalfe on a Thursday – 3.30pm until 4.20pm. 
Boys Football Training Football Training is run by Mr Turner and is normally held on a Thursday – 3.30pm until 4.20pm

Friday Gymnastics Club Gymnastics Club is run by Mrs Iliadou.
Sessions are held in the school hall once a week from 3.30pm until 4.30pm and usually takes place over 5 weeks.

Monday Mini Athletics Club This is run by Access Coaching.Sessions are held once a week outside on the school field from 3.30pm until 4.30pm and takes place over 5 weeks.It includes running, mini hurdles, long jumps, mini discus, mini shot and foam javelins.
Tuesday Energy Club This club takes place before school within Breakfast Club and is run by Mrs Iliadou. Sessions are held once a week in the school hall or outside on the yard/field (weather permitting). The club runs throughout the academic year and includes learning and developing different generic skills, increasing confidence, self-esteem and motivation in a fun environment.
