Cookery Club runs after school in the Activity Centre.
We learn how to cook and bake from scratch, using fresh ingredients.
We have learned how to bake many things, such as cakes, scones, biscuits, crumbles and even made our own pastry for sausage rolls!
We have also made fruit salad, pasta salad and our famous handmade burgers and potato wedges.
We learn where food comes from, and which ingredients to use. We have regular tasting sessions, where we all try new foods we wouldn’t normally try.
At the end of each term, we invite the staff to come and join us for some delicious tasters of the things we produce.
All of the children get to take home their dishes to share with their family.
