Nursery ‘Stay and Play’

Nursery had an amazing ‘Stay and Play’ session! These popular sessions are well supported by parents/carers and family members. It is an opportunity to participate in planned activities, to develop friendships and to provide a safe and supportive environment for the children.

The children showed their family member around the nursery and made wonderful models as well as writing their name! The flower shop area is very popular and many flowers were sold!

It would not be ‘Stay and Play’ without an exciting ‘Forest School’ session! The children made wonderful bird feeders using pipe cleaners and Cheerios. Creativity was in abundance with families making ‘dream catchers’ to hang in our forest area.

Parental feedback is very important to us in order to continue to improve our sessions.

“I loved seeing all the children doing their morning routine, especially prayers and singing!”

“I love that the children are outdoors in all weathers, it was great fun making the bird feeders!”

“I thoroughly enjoyed this stay and play session.” “I can see a huge difference in my child from the first session!”

“I personally would not change anything as the session seemed to cover all aspects of their day!”

“My child said it was nice to have me with him in Nursery!”

“This session was lovely, I wouldn’t change anything, just to have another session!”

A wonderful day was had by all! Here is to the next ‘Stay and Play’ session in the summer term!

Thank you to all parents for your time, valuable feedback and support.
