A busy week in Year 3!

A busy week in Year 3!

Year 3 have had an incredibly busy week!

In Maths, we completed a Right Angle Challenge – we had to see how many right angles we could make with 9 art straws. One group managed to make 87 right angles!

Then, we built a track for our Beebots and programmed them to follow instructions, including right angle turns.

We also completed our ‘spy’ topic with an ‘Egg Drop Competition’. We worked in pairs, had to design a protective suit and parachute and tested them out on eggs. We made a bit of a mess in the hall!

Finally, we created periscopes using light and mirrors – they were perfect for spying on the rest of the school!

Have a well deserved rest over half term Year 3 – you deserve it!
