Week 10 in Y6…16th November

Week 10 in Y6…16th November

For homework, I asked the Y6 children to plan and prepare a 10-minute lesson they could deliver to the class on the subject of bullying, this week being National Anti-Bullying Week.  I was hugely impressed by their work, and by the way they collaborated with friends to produce fully resourced and very effective lessons on this important topic.  I was able to put my feet up for an afternoon and let the children lead.  There were many thought-provoking mini-lessons and more than a few impressive young teachers.  It was so successful we’ll repeat it next week to give everyone a chance to share their work with the class.
